The Hyundai Tucson gets a full makeover for 2022, entering its fourth generation with a polarizing exterior style. But the pictures don’t do justice to Hyundai’s compact crossover—its exterior design is much more attractive in person. Still, we know some may not be convinced about its exterior looks. In a crowded segment, though, Hyundai felt it needed the Tucscon to stand out.

There’s no doubt the design is futuristic and aggressive, but there are many cool details that designers focused on. The Tucson is the latest vehicle to use Hyundai’s new design language called Sensuous Sportiness, which we’ve seen on the Elantra and Sonata sedans.
