We first saw the new Hyundai Sonata last year at its reveal in the new Hyundai Design Studio in Soul, South Korea. We were impressed by its lavish design and technology for a mainstream midsize sedan. Since then, we’ve had a chance to drive it, and earlier this year at the Chicago auto show we saw its first green iteration. The 2020 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid arrives with styling similar to the gas version, but it’s a little more powerful and can deliver up to 54 mpg, according to the EPA.
